The kids kept thrashing their soccer (and other) balls, and it was beginning to get expensive. Then I figured out a permanent 30 second fix that costs pennies and anyone can do. I was so pleased with how well it worked, that I’m passing it along to you with a video. I hope this saves you a fortune on balls! Now I I could just figure out how to stop losing them!
I WONDER HOW MANY OTHER THINGS THIS COULD WORK ON?
Let me know!
Also many people have written to ask if you need the medical style syringe…
You don’t need a medical needle or syringe. Just the needle that comes with any ball inflation pump, and a little rubber tubing from the pet or hardware store that fits over the threaded part of the needle.
Just fill the hose with the rubber cement, insert the needle, and blow the rubber cement into the ball through the hose with your mouth.
Also, I’ve had many inquiries about what cement is available elsewhere. Just got this thumbs up and advice from the UK:
In the UK, buy Kitchen Craft flavour injector, and a 500 ml tin of Evo Stick 528 contact adhesive – both available from Amazon. Draw just over 1 oz of the adhesive into the injector, then screw on the needle (supplied with the flavour injector) and inject through the valve hole in the ball. Inflate the ball and roll it around for a few minutes. Done. Takes seconds.
